uh-may-zing! japan and i saw fun. and jacks mannequin tonight at our favorite venue, appropriately named 'in the venue'. we managed to squeeze our way up to the front(ish)left side of the stage for the entire show. fun. was great, nate ruess knows exactly how to connect with his crowd, and make the set, well, fun. and jacks was magic of course, andrew mcmahon is dynamite on the piano! yeah i just said dynamite, he's that good kids!
p.s. i do realize that about 95% of my posts are about music/concerts, but thats what i get most excited about in my life so far. and every time i try to act like a mature adult, by just standing in the back of the crowd where i can see the entire stage and enjoy the music, that damn bass drum just keeps pulling me into the pit where i can slam dance and scream to my hearts content:)

also i'm sick of the title of my blog being my nickname, so if anyone has any suggestions, please send them my way. cause i hate bananarama too...
things
1. jacks mannequin tomorrow! i'm so freakin excited! i've been juggling between jacks and SoCo in the car for about a week, and everytime i start the engine i get this little bust of excitement for the concert!
2. me and jan went to in-n-out in orem tonight. i've kind of been avoiding it cause it just feels wrong to be eating outside of california/las vegas. in-n-out is vacation food. it was delicious.
3. i slept in til 10:45 this morning. it was beautiful!
4. graywhale definitely let me down tonight, they had none of the cd's i've been looking for, but i've been surfing the web and i think i've found a few things to get next time i venture in to the whale that is gray!
i think thats about it for now:)

suspended like spirits over passing cars...
brand new!
the brand new and manchester orchestra concert FINALLY came to town last night after months of waiting, and it was incredible! the only real bummer is that my phone wasn't working right and deleted the songs that i had recorded to make into ringtones later:( i did meet a new best friend though! halfway through 'you stole' a boy came up by jana and i, and just started dancing his heart out! he was so wrapped up in the music he didn't notice how pissed all the people around him were. except for me and jana of course, we immediatly fell in love with him and his drunkin moves. when the song was over he asked if he was bothering us, and we told him he was our favorite person in the crowd so far. when the next song started he got so excited, he said 'degausser'? are you kidding me? i think i just peed a little, i love this song! so he and i danced and scream sang our way through (in my humble opinion) brand new's greatest song to date. the recording i'm most upset about losing was this one because our tipsy little friend felt it his duty to use my phone as a microphone for the entire song. i would have loved to have listened to that one later!

things i wanted to blog about last night, but the internet was down
1. the garbage can i bought. if you've been to my apartment i'm sure you understand what an urgent need this was
2. my tv dinner smelling like b.o. eewww!
3. the movie whip it. jana, chels and i watched it last night, it was ok, i did think ellen page did a good job
4.the internet being down. my laptop was having a meltdown trying to find a wifi connection that actually worked, even after i disconnected from mine, it still kept reaching as far as it could to find something. also i learned that my neighbors are very mature ie:one of the wifi networks i found was called peepee_head.
